God's Goodness
I am sitting at starbucks in the beautiful Sierra Mountains with London (my daughter). This is the last week before school for both my kids so we are enjoying some much needed family time. As I look up at the majestic mountains at "Heavenly" to my right and beautiful Lake Tahoe down below, I can't help but think of how blessed I am.Labels: boston young, c myles young, holy ghost, lake tahoe, London Young, LSU, sierra nevada mountains, starbucks

Just Me and Boss
So I have decided, however long I have the opportunity of a son at home, I am going to make it count. We are going hunting, we are reading our Bibles together, we are taking long drives into the mountains, we are making knives (don't tell Sheila that we are wrecking the garage) and we are HAVING A BLAST!

Bro Young:
I read your blog today about your son driving, and yes we can relate to where you're at. I'm pasting a webpage address for the Darius Rucker song titled "It won't be like this for long", if the link doesn't work, google his name and you should see the you tube version. I've come to the understand that the love for God and His word has to be in our kids' hearts and I pray everyday that this is so.

Keep up the great work, we catch up on your blog frequently.

Merry Christmas to you guys. We love and miss you very much. I just had a really funny memory... remember in the old church when we had our family Christmas service and a bunch of us were all sitting on the platform. I just remembered that Sis.Wilson was not there (I think she was taking care of Becky) that day so we played the entire service over the speaker phone... and somehow it slipped out that we were eating popcorn in church... using THEIR popcorn machine and making an absolute mess in the entire sanctuary. Remember she FREAKED OUT!!! LOLOL Those are some of the greatest and sweetest memories of home... even if we did have a huge mess to clean up. Keep making those fun memories. Love you all.
PS I love your Christmas pictures.
