Book of Isaiah - My Personal Devotion
In my personal devotion and Bible study I am studying the book of Isaiah. The deeper I have gotten into this book the more sobering it becomes. The first 3 chapters provide the sad account of Jerusalem's moral and spiritual collapse. I guess what is so sobering is to see so many similar trends taking place all around us. The new issues are really not new at all but God's people have struggled with these things since the days of the Isaiah. I know this is not a fun filled post this morning but my heart is stirred. As I drove through the streets of a city with no apostolic church and prayed for the Lord of the Harvest to anoint us to accomplish His will, I couldn't help but think how much of the harvest is being missed because the laborers can't figure out who they are.Labels: apostolic, bible study, c myles young, Church, Isaiah, jerusalem, lord of the harvest, rock church, trends, vineyard

Alabama, Here I Come!
Well, It has been a while since I posted anything on my blog. I am sure you have struggled through in my absence! LOL! To all my friends in Alabama, I am headed your way. I am pumped about being a part of the Dedicatory celebration in Cullman, Alabama. Pastor Greg Wilbanks and the Eva/Cullman Pentecostals have recently completed an incredibly, beautiful new sanctuary and I am privileged to be one of the speakers at the dedication. I look forward to seeing all of you that are able to join us. I am thrilled to be headed to "Bama" (that's big coming from an LSU boy!).p.s. I am taking my bow, pray I get a "bama-buck"!

Pastor Young, I'm so glad to see what the Lord is doing in Delicias. There are so many more doors that are opening as we speak - or as I write hehehe. Sister Luz is an awesome lady. I got to meet her about a month ago. I'm sure as you have found out, they are so hungry for the P.A.S.T.O.R.S Course. She wants me to go teach it to them. Our vision in Phoenix for Delicias is for it to become the training center for Mexico. Out of all the other ministries that we have invested ourselves in, Delicias has been the most faithfull. Pastor Vazquez and I are such Wilsonites like you wouldn't believe. "helping people become" helped me to get a job here in Phoenix jejejeje - thats the Spanish way of hehehe on the net... I used that during my interview as my motto - helping people become.
Has the priest been baptized in Jesus' Name yet? I know that he got the Holy Ghost.

My hubby was only able to go on Friday night and he couldn't stop talking about the service, the annointing, the move of God! He wants to make sure he goes for both nights next year even if he has to go by himself!!! I am excited about what MY GOD is doing in my husband and my family. Bells & Whistles
On mother's day I took my wife and mother-in-law to a nice restaurant downtown. We were having a great time enjoying the atmosphere, food and ambiance when suddenly the fire alarm went off and the emergency lights started flashing. It went on for 10 minutes or so, until the fire department showed up. They climbed down from their trucks, dressed to fight a fire. During all the noise people who were passing by started peeking in the windows to see what was going on. There was a great amount of activity and noise, but THERE WAS NO FIRE! From The Grand to the Grind
Well, my traveling days are over for a while. No Limits, Israel, France, Canada, Branson...all these foreign countries have me worn out. It is good to be home. Back to normal life. Well, as normal as my life ever is. We sometimes say "Back to the grind" with a negative bent, but I am not feeling any negativity right now. It is good to be back doing the daily work that makes the kingdom of God expand. The conferences, the crusades, the world-changing events only exist because of "daily faithfulness". I believe that the hope of the world is the "local church". The daily stuff is not near as fun as all of the high profile things that we want to be a part of. Peter was in one of those "cool" mountain-top events and wanted to stay and build 3 temples to dwell in, but Jesus said "No....lets head back down to where real life is...." NO LIMITS
Well, No Limits has come and gone. It was a spectacular time of God's glory and presence. I encourage you if you were unable to attend go to our web-site and watch the archives. God spoke to us in so many ways. "Innovate" was awesome and many of those that registered stayed over for No Limits. It was our biggest year ever. Each night we set attendance records. We are really excited about the future. To those of you that came we hope that you were as blessed to be here as we were blessed that you came. Samoa needs a Savior
I was thrilled to be invited to go preach a crusade in Samoa. What an incredible place. The only thing more beautiful than the island was the Samoans themselves. They treated me with love and acceptance and received the word of God gladly. Dr. Baumeister and I had the time of our lives. It was a great crusade and many were filled with the Holy Ghost. I look forward to going back soon. Bro & Sis Blunt have invited me back sometime so I would love for some of you to go with us for another crusade. I am working trying to get on the radio in Samoa (God may be working something out) so keep Samoa in your prayers.I filmed a "God Quest 2" video while we were there. You will get to see the country as well as some the results of revival breaking out. Just click on The Rock Church link and you can watch the clip. There is a great need in Samoa for property and a building. Maybe God will speak to someone that views the web-site.

My Sunday Worship
Well Sunday has come and gone. The choir robes are back in the closet, the sound and lights are turned off, the church is dark and silent and another week has begun. So what did you glean from your worship experience? Did you just go through the routine of church as usual? Did you encounter God today? Did the Spirit give you direction? Did you recognize the call of the Spirit? Or was it just another Sunday where you went to church, sang a few songs, heard a sermon, then went and ate with friends? How many of us really touched heaven on Sunday? What if God was providing something we needed to carry us through the week? How sad would it be to have made all the efforts to go to church but never receive what God had for us. Love the website! Finally a website from The Rock Church that will be updated on a regular basis! There are so many of "us" out here longing for any tidbits, sermonettes, songs, photos, services, etc. anything from The Rock Church!!
Your latest entry is so true. You get out of church just what you put in to it...It took me quite awhile to realize that it isnt the people on the platform that supply your needs...they are simply the messengers. It took me so long to get past what they were (or werent) wearing, how they looked, and if it wasnt said just right. If you focus on Him, He will supply what you need, when you need it! If you worship Him, He will bless you for it.
Too many people go to church waiting to be entertained...well that may happen, but you will leave just as empty as you came.
Would love to see more services, photos, songs, etc. added to the website (realize this is quite a process).
Anyway...thank you for taking the time to blog...I'm sure you needed something else added to your list of things to do...as you are jumping off the cliff...people are so funny!

Hey everybody my man B J Wilmoth is in Liberia. He is preaching a convention and doing some very exciting investigative work on a whole new open door of ministry in Africa. He is going to be meeting with a key leader of a large church that recently visited TRC. Send some prayer coverage up for him and his crusade team as they minister in Africa. I believe that Africa is ripe for the biggest apostolic revival in the history of the world. This is only the beginning. Besides normal life that seems to be all that I have been able to do is think about and pray for Sis. McGruder and Bro. McGruder as well. I have been looking back on how she has blessed me not just through her annointed singing but through her ministering to us at our Ladies Retreats. I keep hearing her singing that song as well "From Heavens Point of View". We are so very blessed to be able to sit under such wonderful ministry and leadership and I do thank our God daily for this. We will continue to pray for the McGruders and look forward to having them back at our church once again. Thank you for being such a wonderful pastor. We love and appreciate you and your family.

Bro Young, This is an opportunity for me to how I miss the Rock Church. What a blessing all of our Pastors are there. I will certainly pray for Sister McGruder. She has God at her side, what more can any of us ask. She is a great lady.
