Oakland Tabernacle

Tonight is an exciting night for Sheila and me. We are participating in the first night of the dedication of Oakland Tabernacle. This is the fulfillment of a dream that began several years ago. My father and mother are pastoring Oakland and have done a tremendous job of remodeling the building. It is a beautiful testimony of blessing and the hard work of the saints at Oakland Tabernacle. Tonight, Bishop Wilson is speaking and tomorrow I will be ministering in "OakTown". I am excited! These folks really know how to worship. Like we used to say, "If you can't preach in Oakland, you may as well quit trying".Labels: c myles young, Curtis Young, Dedication Services, nathaniel wilson, Oakland Tabernacle, OakTown, sheila young

This song is one of my favorites too! It reminds us that ministry proceeds out of relationship with the lover of our souls - Jesus. No relationship - no real ministry...

Bro. Young,
I was so blessed by Innovate and No Limits this year! It's encouraging to see so many other musicians learning, and other people just like me living for God. I don't see many people too often because I am in a home missions church, so it was a lot of fun for me. Thanks so much!
God bless,

Honestly I went on the website to try to listen to Pastor Pixler but your message about NOAH was the only one I could pull up. What an awesome message it was. I listened once and then again with my husband when he got home. My only complaint was that you skipped over so much.

NO LIMITS 09
Hey everybody! We are just 2 weeks away from NO LIMITS 09. I hope you are making plans to be with us. The dates are March 4-6. I believe that this year is going to be a life changing time for many of us. I was thinking about how much has changed in our world since NO LIMITS last year. I have spoken with many of you who are going through some very difficult circumstances and you are having to deal with issues in you life and ministry that you have never encountered before. I think all of us will agree that 2008 was a difficult year and 2009 is already presenting its challenges. This is one reason that I believe in meetings like NO LIMITS, because it provides the opportunity to not only be encouraged, inspired and strengthened but it also lets us know we are not alone in the fight. There is a deep hunger in the heart of many of us to receive direction from God for how we are to minister in this crazy world. I ask that all of you say a word of prayer for all of those that are going to be preaching this year. Pray that there would be a holy visitation of God's glory and power that will direct us to fulfill His Divine purpose.Labels: 09, barry sutton, BJ Wilmoth, c myles young, Cody Marks, guy godwin, holy ghost radio, larry booker, nathaniel urshan, nathaniel wilson, No Limits, steve pixler

What an amazing meeting. Thank you Bro. Young for your vision and for your belief in us in planning and hosting this meeting. I've been "chewing" on the word that was given. Like James said "life-changing is a good way to put it".
Thank you!

THE MISSION
We sang, we danced, we cried, we partied and we gave. It was World Missions Sunday and what a time we had. Bishop John Wayabire form Uganda was with us here at TRC. Much of the congregation dressed in native clothing from various countries. It was a sight to behold (Some of them I am not sure what country they represented, looked like the flea market). It was a total blast, but it was also a place where we submitted our will to the will of the Holy Ghost. There is a planet on course for eternal judgement and we are the ones who hold the key to grace that will set them free from the curse of sin. Let us never forget the words "for whosoever will". What can we do this month to help propagate the gospel to a lost and dying world for after all this is what our purpose is.Labels: 2 - 5 club, bishop john wayabire, c myles young, nathaniel wilson, orphans, praise, prayer, two-five club, uganda, widows, world missions

My Mom told me all about this service. She was very impacted by it and I got to experience it vacariously through her. She said she was thinking about AL.
PS Incredible things are happening here Bro.Young. I am so excited about the revival and breakthrough AL is having. We just had an offering come into the office that will blow your mind. God is faithful!!!!!!!!! - James Wilder said...
