CALGARY, ALBERTA CANADA

Calgary, Alberta Canada - Pastor Myles Young Blog4 different countries in 5 days. Whew, I am exhausted.
I just landed in the Calgary, Alberta where this week I am privileged to be preaching at the Alberta Youth Convention. Calgary has got to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. My wife and kids are pumped up because they are skiing in the Rockies (I can't because of knee replacement).
This years theme is "Breakthrough" and it is going to be great. I am especially excited to be here with all of my friends from Canada.
We are now close to 400 hits from Canada on this blog. All of you that read this around the world, help us pray for a "Breakthrough" for Canada.
I believe that there is a great multi-cultural revival that is beginning among the young people of this beautiful nation.

ISRAEL

Pastor Myles Young - IsraelWell, I am back. I just returned from the land of Israel. What an incredible place! I have never been to a place that has impacted me as much as Israel.
I learned things about the scripture that one can only grasp while standing and looking at the actual sites of events that took place so long ago. If you have never been you need to do what ever you have to do to make it happen.
The most outstanding thing to me is to see the splendor and majesty of Rome and its dominion as opposed to the simple way that Christ came. Rome's castles and palaces are nothing but ruins but the humble man from Nazareth's kingdom is still growing. Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, I will have a "Godquest-Israel" episode completed and posted on our web-site. It was a great time of learning, thought, and fellowship. It was also good to get back home and get something to eat that was not Kosher.
This Easter will be more special for me than ever having just come from Golgotha, the garden, and the empty tomb. As I stood in the garden of Gethsemane with tears running down my face I thanked Him for his mercy to me and my family and paying the price that He did for our salvation.
Let me remind you this morning, He is alive, the price of sin has been paid and you are free to walk in liberty and grace. Why not celebrate His resurrection with more energy than you planned.

NO LIMITS

No Limits 08 - C Myles Young BlogWell, No Limits has come and gone. It was a spectacular time of God's glory and presence. I encourage you if you were unable to attend go to our web-site and watch the archives. God spoke to us in so many ways. "Innovate" was awesome and many of those that registered stayed over for No Limits. It was our biggest year ever. Each night we set attendance records. We are really excited about the future. To those of you that came we hope that you were as blessed to be here as we were blessed that you came.

Thank God for 90 Native Missionaries being sponsored on Thursday night in Uganda, Liberia, Mexico, El Salvador... THE FUTURE IS HERE.

Well, I don't have much time to rest because I leave tonight for Israel. I am so pumped (I have never been). I am going to film GOD QUEST - ISRAEL (should be fun). I don't know if I will have access to a computer while I am gone, if so I will post. If not I will be in touch when I return.

Pray someone through to the Holy Ghost while I am gone. God bless.

Cry of Lost Humanity

The Cry of Lost Humanity - The Lost Lamb - Pastor Myles YoungCan you hear the cry of a lost and dying world? Grab your wrist and feel your pulse...with every beat of your heart another soul dies and enters eternity, never hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ. My soul is heavy this morning as a read the news and check my email. Everyone is busy in the kingdom but how many have we really saved from hell.
The scripture teaches that we are to bear fruit and that we are blessed to be a blessing but how many people that sit on our pews every week have ever one a soul to Christ? We get so caught up in the pull of the American culture and work our fingers to the bone to have nice cars, houses, toys & vacations.
Please don't misunderstand me, I love the very same things and do my best to have a good life, but I feel the Holy Ghost pressing me this morning to remember the "cause". We are to preach this message of truth to the lost and convert the sinner. Anything short of this is a case of missed placed priorities. As you go about your day and week look for opportunities to share Jesus with the world.
I challenge you to win one soul to Christ this year.

Perceptions

Tonight something very funny happened to me. I was sitting at a local coffee shop with 4 men from my church. We were discussing current issues and generally having a good time when I remembered that I was supposed to be at choir practice to rehearse a song for our upcoming NO LIMITS conference. I called "Ben" our music director (who was in the middle of choir practice) to find out what time he wanted me there for my song. Someone answered the on the other end, so I assumed it was "Ben" so I said "Hello, Ben....can you hear me?". I could hear music in the background as the choir practice was in full swing. So I called louder, "Ben", "BEN", "BEN"... about that time I heard the voice of my wife say "Hello" , so I responded quite loudly "Hey Baby!" Suddenly the 4 men at the table began to laugh because all they heard was me ask for "Ben" and then I said "Hey Baby". They got a good laugh but to make matters even more funny there were 2 ladies passing by the table that had heard the whole thing. You should have seen the look on their face. This is a humorous example of how our perceptions can be very wrong. When you only have partial information you can form an opinion or belief that could be very far from the truth. The scripture warns us that it is "folly" or "foolish" to judge a matter before hearing both sides of the story. Lets take this little story as a reminder if you don't have all the information, then as a rule DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.
